For over two thousand years, the ancient city of Ratnapura — "City of Gems" in Sinhalese — has yielded some of the world's most extraordinary sapphires. Our stones come directly from these legendary alluvial deposits, where gem-bearing gravel lies beneath the lush tropical soil.

We work with multi-generational mining families who practice ethical, small-scale extraction. Each stone is hand-selected by our gemologists in Colombo before being offered to collectors who appreciate the difference between a mass-market gem and one with a genuine story.
